Ghana Lecturer training November 2014

ESEFA project executive sponsor Associate Professor Lisa Seymour, from the Department of Information Systems at the University of Cape Town (UCT), gave a lecturer training course in “ES Fundamentals with SAP” at the African University College of Communications (AUCC) in Accra, Ghana from the 24th to 28th November 2014.  

Mauritius Lecturer training November 2014

The UCT ESEFA project team gave a lecturer training course in “ES Fundamentals with SAP” at the University of Mauritius (UOM) from the 24th to 28th November 2014.  In total 11 academics from UOM, which is the piloting ESEFA partner university in Mauritius, as well as 8 lecturers from the University of Technology Mauritius (UTM) - who are keen to join the ESEFA programme at a later stage - attended the training.  

Another ES Fundamentals for Business short course concluded at UCT

On 21 November 2014 the Department of Information Systems (IS) at the University of Cape Town (UCT) successfully concluded its second Enterprise Systems (ES) Fundamentals for Business short course. This second 5-day short course was again attended by students from TSiBA (Tertiary School in Business Administration), students from CPUT (Cape Peninsula University of Technology) as well as postgraduate IS students from UCT.

ESEFA team members from the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Department of Information Systems, Karin Reissenauer (ESEFA project manager) and Gwamaka Mwalemba (ESEFA lecturer) took a 3 day whirlwind trip to Kampala last week to present the ESEFA programme to 12 academics from the College of Computing and Information Sciences and the College of Business and Management Sciences at Makerere University.
